Some enamel pins we recently designed for our client Bushwick Tea out of NYC.
Here's the surfboard concept design we're currently working on, which will be exclusively hand-produced one piece, in a collaboration between Garage Design Studio and Demadeira Boards, out of Greece.
Our good friends Badrumsfixaren from Sweden reached out to us recently for some print-related work. We designed their brand identity back in 2016. While we were digging into some archive design files, we stumbled on this concept we worked on.
This one didn't make the cut, but it was fun to work on, and thought it was worth posting!
While working on new design projects, we always believe in trying new variations and alternative ideas, especially for branding and packaging projects. We love exploring different directions and concepts. We embrace all options and are constantly iterating. It's all part of growing as designers and collaborators. Always pushing boundaries.
When our client reached out to create Nü Water's branding & packaging, we jumped right in. Once we received the project brief and mood-board, we started creating conceptual ideas, which was super productive that took us on a collaborative design journey.
Here are some of our favorite concepts from this project.
We’re currently working on some fun merch ideas for the studio.
We make limited edition goodies whenever we have the chance. Here’s an example of an Iced-Tea bottle which we hand printed when we used to be located in istanbul. (Currently out of stock)
Since we’re now located in sunny Greece, the theme is inspired by the great Aegean and the sunshine.
See attached images of the merch goodies mockups and let us know what you think and if you would consider wearing/using these?
I've pivoted. I've changed my business name. From Salih Küçükağa to Garage Design Studio.
I’m ushering in a new era in how I approach design and collaboration. I'm super excited! It's like Salih Küçükağa on steroids, attempting a Tour de France with a supportive team.
Garage for me signifies two of my greatest passions - design and bikes.
“The Garage” has been a special place in the evolution of technology and business for as long as we can remember, a place where you “tinker”, “iterate” and just break the heck out of stuff. It’s also a place where I have gone to tweak my bike before a ride along with iterate many logo projects.
Just like those iconic start-ups that have grown up around us I see design as an evolving process. Garage is about getting back to our roots, using our craftiness and creating high-calibre design for passionate start-ups, pushing the boundaries of branding and popular culture as we know it.
And now Garage Design is a chance for me to push forward a belief system I’ve had all along which has been to make my design services more accessible as well as more cohesive across various mediums, including but not limited to brand strategy and packaging. Garage Design in essence is Salih Küçükağa v.2.0 and a chance for my team to grow with you.

Happy International Women's Day to all the wonderful women I know, especially 8 Fingers business owners! Here are a few pictures of the menu I recently designed for them. If you are in Istanbul and happen to be around the area, don't forget to show them love and support. They offer great food and a cozy ambience.
